Lately, I kept stopping mid-scroll on Instagram because this brand was everywhere on my feed.
So I decided to share my honest, self-paid review of Situea lip products
after actually buying and using them myself.
Situea is the makeup brand created by Kim Sohee,
the former founder and CEO behind StyleNanda and 3CE.

To be honest, I didn’t study every formula detail or shade chart that carefully before ordering.
I mostly went in thinking, “She probably made it well, obviously,”
because I genuinely admire Kim Sohee so much,
and the brand mood and packaging were so beautiful
that I basically got hypnotized and checked out on the official site.

Since I’m a winter cool tone dark,
I picked one shade from the Glint Lip Glaze
and one from the Airy Mousse Velvet that looked like they’d suit me best.
Here’s my honest take after using both.
Situea

Brand : Situea (Kim Sohee’s makeup brand)
Products purchased : Glint Lip Glaze in 206 Satin Lilac /
Airy Mousse Velvet in 103 Smoky Mauve
Price : 22,000 KRW each (about $16 each)
Best for : Anyone who loves chic, moody
muted lip colors,
and anyone who wants a hydrating lip that won’t leave lips feeling dry
One thing I noticed right away was that the matte lip lineup
definitely leans more warm-toned.

Maybe that’s because Kim Sohee
seems to be an autumn warm tone herself,
so the brand naturally feels a little heavier on autumn-warm shades.
Winter cool tone dark shade picks

As someone with a winter cool tone dark palette,
I wanted shades that still felt cool
without looking too intense.
I was also eyeing Glint Lip Glaze shade 211,
but in photos it looked a little too deep,
so I went with the more nude-looking 206 Satin Lilac instead.

After trying both, I can say for sure
they both have that low-saturation, muted mood,
so instead of making your face look bright and lively,
they create a chic, polished, sophisticated vibe.

The packaging was absolutely my style, too.
The Glint Lip Glaze comes in a matte silver tube that feels really luxe
and calm and understated,
while the Airy Mousse Velvet has a soft-touch finish
that almost mirrors the texture of the lip product itself.
Even the feeling of twisting open the cap makes it fun to use.
Glint Lip Glaze 206

Situea Glint Lip Glaze
Shade 206 is a glossy nude purple-pink lip color,
and since it contains hyaluronic acid and peptides,
the hydration really does last for hours.

My lips didn’t dry out over time,
and the shine stayed clear and glossy, which I loved.

The formula doesn’t go on thick or heavy right away,
so it doesn’t show up exactly like the shade chart in one swipe.
You do need to build it up with a few layers to get the full color.
But even with multiple layers, it never got patchy,
and it applied smoothly while staying super hydrating.
It’s not that sticky, oily kind of gloss—
it feels more like a burst of moisture with a clean glossy finish, which I really liked.
Airy Mousse Velvet 103

Situea Airy Mousse Velvet 103
had an absolutely beautiful texture.

It has that soft-matte-outside, hydrated-inside feel,
so even after a few hours, my lip lines didn’t
look emphasized or cracked, and the color stayed put.

It goes on light like mousse,
but the adherence is strong enough that even after drinking something,
the color didn’t fade dramatically.
The Smoky Mauve shade has that signature
calm, muted mood that looks refined and really pretty.

I will say, though, when wearing a matte lip,
your skin looks best with a soft matte base so the lip color stays clean-looking.

Pros
Muted shades that work well even for winter cool tone dark
The velvet lip texture stays matte while keeping lips comfortable and hydrated
The packaging design is uniquely beautiful

Glaze 206 / Mousse Velvet 103
Honestly, when you look at a lot of makeup brands these days,
so many lip shades start to feel the same,
and a lot of brands don’t really have a memorable story behind them.

But with Situea, even the packaging alone
feels distinctive right away,
and Kim Sohee’s Instagram feed doesn’t just push the products directly—
it shows Situea as part of everyday life,
and that mood-driven approach honestly made me want the products even more.
I think that was a big part of the appeal for me.
I’m genuinely curious
to see what this brand releases next.

If you prefer bright, lively warm-toned shades,
this color lineup might feel a little limited.

But if you’re tired of the same boring lip products
in the same generic packaging sitting in your pouch,
and you want lip colors with a calm, moody,
muted depth,
I think this brand could be a very satisfying find.
