On our last day in Yeosu, South Korea, I found a Yeosu ocean-view cafe worth slowing down for.
We were looking for somewhere to stop before heading back to Seoul,
and that’s how we discovered Museul Sori.
The cafe sits right in front of Museulmok Beach,
and its ocean views have made it
a must-visit stop on a Yeosu trip.
With the autumn breeze blowing,
I let myself zone out and relax—
and that little stretch of downtime is something I won’t forget.
Yeosu Ocean-View Cafe: Museul Sori Visitor Information

Address: 1st floor, 12-8 Musulmok-gil, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, South Korea
Hours: Daily, 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Last orders: 6:00 p.m.
Parking: Outdoor parking is available at the cafe.

There are a good number of parking spaces,
but weekends and public holidays can get busy,
so you might need to wait a little
for a spot to open up.
On weekdays, parking is generally much easier,
making for a more relaxed arrival.
The Atmosphere at Museul Sori in Dolsan, Yeosu

Set along the coast in Dolsan, Yeosu,
this cafe has a distinctive feel from the moment you walk in.
It reminded me of an old-fashioned Korean guesthouse,
with the kind of charm you might find
in a small village in rural Japan.

Museulmok Beach is right out front,
so the open sea fills your view.
There’s plenty of outdoor seating beneath shady trees,
making this Yeosu ocean-view cafe a lovely place to gaze out at the water and let your mind wander.
There’s indoor seating, too,
though the space is compact and cozy rather than spacious.
Museul Sori’s Gatcha Latte and Coffee

We ordered the signature Gatcha Latte
and an iced Americano.
The Gatcha Latte was delicious—and unlike anything I’d tried before.
It had a pleasantly bitter edge balanced by a smooth finish.
Both the name and the drink were new to me,
but after just one sip,
I knew I’d made a good choice.
The iced Americano was a winner, too,
with a really satisfying coffee flavor.

There were also plenty of cookies and other desserts,
all of which looked tempting.
Decorating Pebbles at Museul Sori

There are pebbles everywhere around the cafe,
and you can use markers to doodle on them
or draw your own little pictures.
It was much more fun than I expected.
Looking out at the sea while doodling on a pebble
turned out to be the most relaxing moment of my Yeosu trip.

Museul Sangjeom, the little shop, also sells
handmade decorative pieces and accessories,
and it’s easy to lose track of time browsing.
Tips for Visiting Museul Sori
The autumn breeze felt so lovely
that I was happy just sitting outside.
Before winter sets in, this is a wonderful spot
to take a break and enjoy the crisp fall air.
With indoor seating available on rainy days,
you can still visit when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Just remember that the indoor space is small, so on busy days,
the outdoor seating feels less cramped.
If you’re visiting on a weekend or public holiday,
and want the best chance of finding parking,
I’d recommend arriving early in the morning, around opening time.
A Recommended Stop on Your Yeosu Itinerary

We stopped by after lunch,
and sitting beside the sea with nothing on my mind
felt like exactly what I needed.
There were even cute cats wandering around,
so a little cat-watching was an unexpected bonus.
If you’re planning the last day of your Yeosu trip,
I wholeheartedly recommend this Yeosu ocean-view cafe, Museul Sori.
Make time for it when you’re in Yeosu!
